I feel like this needs an explanation. People have asked me why I buy my movies, why not download when it's cheaper?
First of all, In 2010 one of the oldest movie producing companies in the U.S went bancrupt: MGM. And because of this we have one less company that can finance and produce film. It's not such a big deal but with the industry losing more and more on the dvd and bluray market they need to get money elsewhere: Movie theatres and product salesment. Which leads me to the second point. I enjoy watching movies on the big screen but because the production companies lose more and more on downloads I lose more and more on going to the theatres. So all in all, everybody loses.
Eventhough I'm not an angel, because I have downloaded, I do try and buy as much film as I can because let's face it: It's way cooler, more practical and easier to have a large library of movies at home and of course safer. Files can easily be deleted but DVDs and Bluray takes a bit more effort to break.
